Thanks to Vellocet for the banner.
Three Days of Smash in the Munich E-Sport Club. The biggest Smash WiiU Tournament in Germany to date. Cyve, Wusi, Yikarur, vyQ, and many more! You want to show Germany that we ain't such hot stuff? We've got 30 spots reserved for out-of-country players, and we'd just love for you guys to take our money.
Dates
08.01.2016-10.01.2016
Opens Friday: 14:00
Closes Sunday: 20:00
Events:
Super Smash Bros WiiU Singles
Super Smash Bros WiiU Doubles
Super Smash Bros WiiU Character Auction Tournament
(DE vs. FR/NL/GB/whatever Crew Battle?)
Location and Transit
E-Sports Club München in Baldham
Photos of the location can be found on the facebook page.
The location is about 10 minutes (5 if you're in a big hurry) from the train station "Baldham" on the S4 line in Munich.
There is tons of parking directly in front of the location.
At the location, we have:
Location fee: 15€ (low numbers of entrants may lead to an increase)
Singles: 10€
Doubles: 7,50€ per player (15€ per team)
Team Auction Turnier: varies (see "rules")
Payout (singles and teams):
Equipment
Monitor 26/50
WiiU 2/50
GCC Adapter 1/50
Housing, Food, and Sleeping
You can sleep at the location on the floor. I recommend bringing an air mattress or yoga mat or something to sleep on. The floor is fairly soft carpet, though, so that's nice.
Unfortunately, there is no public shower.
If the ground is too uncomfortable for you, ESCM has a partnership with a nearby hotel for lowered prices; it's around 25€ per person per night last I checked; more details if anyone asks.
There's a restaurant directly attached to the location that will be open and serving hot food and drinks all weekend long as well as a nearby Kebab shop. Beyond that, there are supermarkets within short driving distance, McDonalds within reasonable walking distance, and local delivery services.
I can house around 10 people on the previous thursday and the following monday, for people coming from outside who don't have a good connection on friday/sunday.
Ruleset
The precise ruleset is still TBA. Three interesting points I can guarantee in advance:
On the subject of the Character Auction Tournament:
Signups
The list of signups will be maintained and can be found here. "Sucht nach teampartner" = "Looking for teammate". Currently at 131/150. Currently all remaining spaces reserved for "out of country" players (including you guys!).

Final Words
- If you bring equipment, mark it! A marking that can't be seen at first glance or is hard to remove is a guaranteed way to identify your equipment.
- We need power strips.
- Please bring exact change! Or at least close to it. We don't have infinite amounts of change here, and if you try to pay with a 100€ bill or larger, we probably won't be able to help you out.
- Matches that are called will be played without delay! Anyone who is MIA (i.e. has not spoken to ME explicitly about their absence) will lose their match. 5 minutes first round, 10 minutes the set. No excuses. Be there.
- Removing or swapping the plugs on WiiUs, Adapters, TVs, or the like is strictly forbidden! WE WILL THROW YOU OUT IF YOU DO THIS WITHOUT CONSULTING US! Talk to me or some other member of the staff before moving any equipment!
